Share one of the best gifts you’ve ever received…
Do you remember the gifts you received..?
Do you really?
It feels like my whole life I pretended to have what I needed,So I didn’t have a need for a gift ever…
Maybe this is basic courtesy in my culture to refuse;
Because gifts cost money and no one should spend money on things that bring temporary pleasure to this mind…
Maybe this is the type of thinking I had(I still have),
That taking gifts from someone is considered bad, maybe they will(they definitely will) expect you to give them something of equal worth or more, because human tendency (duh!)…
And when they feel that you skimped on their gift(which they definitely will), they won’t say it directly but it will be noticeable in their behaviour, maybe next year around they will spend less(money)…
Not meeting your expectations, with their gift, and this cycle continues until one of you refuses to bring one or gifts an expensive one(less likely..)
Restarting this cycle yet again…

(You can give expensive gifts but only with a discretion that you might not get something of worth equal or more in return…)

(P.s. my best gift was the life that I was blessed with which is a medley of bittersweet moments, Other than that it is a watch that I bought for myself…)
