Write about your first name: its meaning, significance, etymology, etc.
Hey…
I hope all of you are doing well…!
A long day it was yesterday, I was able to complete the job that I had at my hand yesterday and start the next one a little bit…!
Maybe I will end it today itself ( I hope so…)
And this day was a good one, I went out for a walk and saw many a things like birds and street dogs, which I petted just before returning home and thoroughly washing my hands…!
All in it seems like a good morning and I hope the rest of the day goes the same way…!
Coming back to the prompt
My first name it’s meaning, significance and etymology…
Well it’s a tricky one because I intentionally plan to keep it hidden and people to know me by this name only;
Which is
Waakiye
I can go deeper into the name that I chose for myself because that is something I wanted to be known by and it resonates with me more…
And in an Indian household your actual name is used very less; all the time you are called by a short name or how we usually call people around us…
For Indian users they know what I’m talking about, but for those viewing from outside,
A pseudonym like(bhai, bhen, beta, oh hello) translations(brother, sister,daughter, son, hello!)
Sometimes a short form of your name is used, heavily butchered is a sense that strays away from your actual name;
That’s why you will see that some don’t have an attachment to their names…

It might seem to you that waakiye name is incomplete but in a sense it displays duality in a single word…
- Waak’ye(वाक्य) which means a sentence in my native language Hindi…
- Waak’ya(वाक़या) which means A happening maybe an incident, an accident or an event that took place somewhere…
Both of them being significant words in our native language because when we string these words together we form a sentence which gets our feelings and thoughts across each other,
Just like I am penning all of this and it will reach you once I upload and you get to read all of it…!
Cheers 🥂
Love Waakiye 🤍
