What were your parents doing at your age?
Hey…
I hope all of you are doing well…!
A warm morning it is because somewhere during the night I turned the fan on full because I was sweating through my t shirt last night…!
So I slept with the fan on full with a blanket covering me up…
But this morning as soon as I opened my window a cool breeze brought me chill, and I have been occasionally sneezing all throughout the day yesterday…!
Maybe I’ll drink some turmeric milk this week or the coming week to get some immunity in…!
Coming back to the prompt
What were our parents doing at our current age…?!
Well in my case my mom and dad had just been married-
It has only been a year of their marriage and they were finding each other’s quirks and habits out…!
And when they got to my age, A year later— they tried to conceive me and my sister , but a lot of the time they weren’t able to conceive…!
This year and a few following them were very depressive for them because all of their efforts went down in vain and any chance of conception they thought they had was going away from them as every month came and went…!
She really was depressed and the entire joint family was facing the raft of it because in the home if there are failure in conception and a few miscarriages the life becomes miserable and unliveable…!
Those were some extremely hard times that my mom and dad both of them pulled though;
And I thank them for having me and the type of blessing we(my sister and I) were and are to her— And a proof of our father still guiding us from the world beyond this one…!
May his soul get eternal peace…! 🕊️
