How has technology changed your job?
Hey…
I hope all of you are doing well…!
You know what happens when you have to struggle for one of the basic requirements of living…!
In my case it was the supply of fresh water which we utilise for all of our necessities;
For drinking, bathing, watering these plants, cooking, cleaning and so many other things that help us live…
Let’s not forget washing our clothes and today our washing machine will have to run double shifts because of the water shortage for the past few days…
I cannot forget how my family spent arranging water from sources that I wouldn’t leak because this problem will come again on all of us…!
When there is a genuine struggle to even secure your basic necessities, life becomes hard,
And I know not just because of this water shortage.
But I come from a place where I’ve seen people carry jugs of water just to bathe and drink…!
“Only if your basic necessities are met, your mind moves out of survival mode…”
Isn’t it…?
Coming back to the prompt
How has technology changed my job…
Hasn’t technology changed our life on the whole…?
Imagine there is something that is available on the north of India,
Maybe kashmir;
And you want that living in the west coast like Mumbai or,
Somewhere down south like Kerala;
The advertisement of it reaches you in your privacy within your room on this phone,
For which you don’t have to turn on something like a TV or search a channel;
You just open any social media app and it reaches you…!
If we’re talking about my business specifically,
It has helped me in speeding up the process that usually took most of the time,
I.e. turning the material using cnc machines…!
And when the basic thing that requires most of the time is cut short,
Everything happens quickly;
And this job of writing has taken a whole another level,
As everything happens so fast,
Like an idea that comes like a flash of light;

Noting it down has become more easier than ever before;
Imagine writing each and everything down,
It doesn’t happen nowadays;
It’s either voice notes and those notes converted into text,
And if I really plan on writing it too has to be quick so I don’t lose anything…
Would it be possible to pen down each thing without a proper phone if it weren’t for the technology to develope it…?
Do you think any of us would exist if we didn’t have the equipment to pen down things and explore it later when we are at peace with the surroundings…?
