Hey…
I hope all of you are doing well…!
I know Monday might bring new challenges with it but there is only one thing I’m going to tell all of you…!
This too shall pass…!
This day started early on at around 6:30 but I decided to stay in my bed longer;
Around 7 as it was my day off and after a while I fell asleep writing my dream that I had which I will try to share tonight which can be a great story idea too…!
So I freshened up, brushed my teeth and went out for a walk around 8 and returned home around 9:10 this also included walking mithu for 10 minutes which was great as she took a round more than usual…!
After returning home I had milk and sweets…
I almost forgot—
Last night we did Ashtami pooja..!
Yes.
It was a bit earlier than my routine but I returned around 8; an hour earlier than my usual routine and brought home a box of sweets from Bikanerwala Karol Bagh;
Earlier we used to bring earthen pots and fill it with sweets but they are fragile and we had to store them somewhere and it was a pain;
So we used microwave safe bowls and added sweets and listened to ashtami katha on my phone and let me tell you when people use Artificial intelligence for things like these,
It becomes really funny…!
I’m not going to tell anything anymore because I don’t want to ruin my chance at heaven…!

It was almost 12:30 and I got a call from my friend that his father just underwent surgery for removing gall bladder stones but they decided to remove it altogether…!
And I reached here around 1:50
Ganga Ram hospital, Rajinder nagar and the good news is that they are going to get discharged around 6 this evening…!
Which is really great news and I hope to stay here until their discharge…!

A song that changed my life
Well,
Songs helped me through one of the toughest times in my life;
And the way I listen to songs I might be consider an addict because even if I’m on YouTube I’m out exploring songs Qawali, ragas, thumris or just plain old songs by Arabic/Egyptian origin and finding things that might give me a perspective and a way to experience this life better…!
There isn’t a single song that I’d consider to be life changing but there are a few…!

Talha Anjum was a legend even before he knew knew he was one( He probably already knew but a legend is a legend always…)
The art of telling a story and bringing people to us is something that stays on his fans forever…!
This wouldn’t be possible without Talhah Yunus tho so a bigger shout out to him…!
- Range/Dhanabaad
You know this list is incomplete without Arjan Dhillon in it,
His storytelling his voice his grasp on history and how the youth grows and understands things is what we learn from him;
And each of his songs are a source of inspiration to think about even more and they leave me feeling up to the brim…!

My eyes still start brimming as they have because it was a tragedy for all of us, and it felt like losing someone who was closer to us even though many weren’t able to meet him in person…!

Tarsem Jassar on the first song and the latter is by Kulbir Jhinjer and let me tell you this duo is something that is as old as time…!
Even Arjan Dhillon used to listen to them in his college days and I hope he does now…!
These were some of the songs which had a lasting impact on my life…!
And it’s almost 23:26 right now as I’m penning it down and a happy news my friends father were discharged around 17:30 and reached home around 19:30 because of traffic;
And we hope for his speedy recovery…!
