  • My drink of choice

    What is your favorite drink?

    You won’t believe it but I love to drink,

    Not in an addict sort of the way but,

    Coffee, tea, and other things I’m in…

    During the weekends I just try to mix it up,

    Just last year I got myself a set of bar tools(expensive one),

    And ever since I try to mix and match and try to mix bitters here and there,

    Also some virgin drinks for non drinkers too…

    I made a virgin mojito for my sister and mom,they absolutely loved it…

    I still have a long way to go and learn how to make better mixes and drinks…

    And I hope that I can get better at this one day…

    Almost forgot..

    My favourite drink is one I used to have with my father,

    whisky with little water and a few ice cubes..

    Brands I’d like to quote here are black dog and some jack Daniel…

    Good times…

  • A pair to remember

    Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.

    This was the mid 18,

    I started work at my own family business and I started to earn(little money..)..

    Because I started as a helper at my own premises and I did want to go through the entire ladder of management from the worker to the actual owner of the place…

    One day, me and a few of my friends made a plan to travel to a hill station, and we planned to buy stuff for the trip as the day came…

    It was two days before our departure, and I planned to buy some shoes to cruise through the rocky terrain on foot, and not able to find any that would work for me..

    After a lot of worries I finally entered the woodland outlet, and found a whole medley of shoes that were an exact match of my description of course there was a markup of the brand…

    There I saw steel toed boots that were absolutely amazing, compared to the rugged ones that I wore at work which were made by a local company,

    On examining that I felt a vast difference between the ones that I had and those I saw,

    The catch

    those were upwards of 5k and buying that would mean I wouldn’t have enough money for the other one…

    So I put them down and started to look for something that would fulfill my current needs,

    As I saw the pair of blue shoes that matched what I had in mind and wanted to buy, on asking they had it in my size…

    That day was the first time I spent a good 3-4 k on a shoe that still stays with me on good and bad days..

    And it was a beautiful trip and I caught some beautiful pics too…

    They took me where each and every shoe does to my destination and back home safely and in good health…

  • Pilot

    Hi,
    this is my very first post here on this app,
    I’d try to be active here too so bear with me…

    This is the person who loves to write freely without any boundaries and anything/everything that piques the interests of this little brain…

    This might be a little skeptical coming from someone who just started here on this app but,
    I have been scribbling here and there,
    so,
    I thought why not use the time and efforts where all of my works will be mine and ultimately I’ll be able to look back at it when I feel like,
    Am I right…?

    So,
    here comes my intro…
    This is Waakiye,
    A person from Delhi, India
    who has sort of a passion for writing and scribing in his notes app ever so often,
    and you too will be witness to the ideas that spring up in this mind of mine,
    and I hope they will give you a new perspective or many…

    That being said,
    “Let the writing begin…”
