    Hey…

    I hope all of you are doing well…!

    Another one of those late nights upload,

    Because of Rakhi celebrations in the morning leeching into the afternoon,

    And we had some job that was pending that we completed today…!

    After returning home around 18:00 in the evening, I picked up a delivery of a Raksha Bandhan gift for a friend of mine who went to New Zealand and his family was all alone here…!

    I reached south extension around 19:28 and talked all about life and how they are doing,

    Some discussions about life, about how this government is ruining this country and how biased has people become along with their thoughts and ideas…!

    After much talking I left around 20:30 reached home around 21:00–

    Even I was shocked because nothing like this has happened ever before…!

    Like I reached home from south ex to my place of residence within a span of 30 minutes…!

    Well,

    I live a relatively simple life and nothing much happens that is spontaneous or seems weird to me,

    But there are instances that shock me,

    Like how predictable life has become…!

    They range from simple things like me guessing on the first try what is made for lunch or dinner;

    But not breakfast because my senses don’t work so early in the morning…!

    To already predicting what will happen because I saw exact instances like that happen somewhere in my dream…!

    From a relative visiting just like it happened in a dream,

    To,

    Witnessing a death in the exact moment like I saw in my dream…!

    Yes exactly what I typed above…!

    I hope all of you are doing well…!

    The day is almost over,

    It started later because I took my sister to apply mehandi on her hands…!

    Because tomorrow is Rakhsha Bandhan…!

    This was the design that she had in her mind even before she visited…!

    She chose this one from 50 designs that she took screenshots of from Instagram and many other sources that she won’t reveal to me…!

    There are many books that I have in my nightstand,

    In my almirah,

    In my storeroom,

    And one in my bag…!

    The books range from religious scriptures like the Quran,

    To,

    Mein kampf…!

    And,

    Most of them are on my reading list…!

    Some of them are in the paperback form,

    Some are in EPUB form,

    Some are sitting as just as titles in my notes app…!

    But,

    All of them are waiting to be read,

    Explored,

    And perceived from perspective different which gives birth to ideas far beyond life…!

    I hope all of you are doing well…!

    This day is a special one to be honest because we have Onam and Milad Un-Nabi coinciding with each other on the same day…!

    So,

    Happy Onam to the people who celebrate Onam and I know the flower decorations are more beautiful than what seems to the naked eyes…!

    And no matter if you make or order Onam Sadya, I hope everyone enjoys it with you…!

    The same with Milad Un-Nabi or Mawlid

    The birth of the Prophet Mohammad

    I know there will be public processions and religious gatherings where verses from The Quran will be recited…!

    Meals will be prepared and donated to those who are needy and poetry will be recited in the name of the god…!

    I hope,

    God accepts and gives you more in abundance when you help those in need…!

    Coming back to the prompt…!

    Vacation in a fictional world…!

    It would probably the middle earth from the lord of the rings…!

    Not where I have to fight orcs and dragons while being on my tippy toes,

    But,

    The shire would be a start…!

    Imagine waking up in a hobbit house and having breakfast, walking through hills and luscious greens and having nothing urgent to do or any distractions…!

    It would simply mean peace,

    Reading books, having conversations and talking to people about how they reached here and how their lives are…!

    It would be impossible for me to leave even after spending a week there..

    The areas like Gondor, Rivendell are also a part of the lotr series where I would love to explore and fall into love with…!

    Gondor would throw me into the question,

    Who was here before…?

    Who did they lose to…?

    Who were the survivors…?

    What was built here before…?

    I would leave with more questions than answers and it would be perfectly fine…!

    Rivendell would be another one of my choices because it’s a place full of knowledge,

    Centuries of history, languages spoken, songs or sonnets, stories of the past, maps identifying the fallen kingdoms whose existence exists only in those pages…!

    Waiting to be explored by someone…!

    I would gnaw off the mind of someone who would answer one of these questions and I wouldn’t leave until I was beaten out of the place…!

    With my increasingly specific questions to gain as much knowledge as I can…!

    Hey…

    I hope all of you are doing well…!

    I know this is late,

    But,

    By the God the day I’ve had today…!

    My cousin brother took my car and was supposed to return early in the morning and I planned to drop my massi(my mothers sister) to the New Delhi railway station,

    But,

    My brother didn’t return…!

    So I ordered a cab and sent my sister and my massi to the railway station and I drove my scooty there…!

    And before we could reach the station the train was already there,

    Waiting to leave and she was supposed to get on number 16th coach;

    And we reached at number 6;

    So my sister made her board the train on number 6 coach and she walked slowly on the platform following her as she walked…!

    Whereas I,

    Normally walked and reached the 16th coach with a few minutes to spare…!

    The gates closed and the train left infront of our eyes and she was in coach number 10;

    Within a span of five minutes as the crowd sat down she reached her coach and sat on her seat from where she sent her photograph…!

    Twas a vande Bharat going to Katra…!

    But,

    Her stop was Ludhiana…!

    And as I picked up my Scootie from the parking area,

    It began to rain…!

    I mean rain like god didn’t want to stop…!

    We were already soaking wet,

    But decided to make a pit stop,

    And drink some Nagori tea…!

    After which we left and reached home all drenched…!

    And let me tell you something,

    I reached home around 7 in the morning,

    And after taking a shower with hot water I slept for 3 hours straight and I had no clue what was going on…!

    I went into such a delusional state that I woke up at 10:08 already late for work,

    So I packed my bag and left for work..!

    After taking another cup of Nagori tea in my Tupperware…!

    And,

    That morning sleep made me almost delusional,

    I know I was working but I couldn’t focus,

    I was aware of the work that I was doing, worried about what I had to achieve by the end of the day,

    But,

    I was a bit less worried about it all..!.

    The riches that we lost,

    And gradual loss of people who could act as a medium of uncovering and taking care of these ancient texts which were passed on through generations,

    Which would have been ours to read and explore but,

    We couldn’t…!

    I don’t know what I could have done,

    But,

    For sure I would have taken a few Rosetta stones of Indus Valley civilisation if they were available;

    Or,

    Taken some books related to medicine and something that could have helped us…

    Hey…

    I hope all of you are doing well..!

    I know my post is late today as it was a day off for me,

    And after what felt like an eternity I tried to sleep longer than my routine—

    Importance on the tried… 😂🥲

    I was awoken by my sister’s plan to go to gurudwara Bangla Sahib…!

    And,

    I was charged with a task,

    A task to watch and tell the cleaning lady to clean the house properly…!

    And after being woken up at 6 in the morning,

    She didn’t arrive until 1,

    And guess what,

    Thanks to her,

    I lost the chance to complete my sleep…!

    So yeah,

    I’m feeling well and not have even a single shred of anger or sleeplessness right now…!

    Hey…

    I hope all of you are doing well…!

    Hope your Sunday goes well, you wake up well rested and do get to spend some time with your significant other…!

    .

    While people like me spend their time at work…!

    😅😂

    Well,

    I can tell you what it felt like to meet someone who I considered to be my significant other…!

    We found each other broken by people and with next to no hope that we will ever love anyone anymore—

    Through an app where we expressed how we felt and who we were after we found loss in our love lives…!

    It was a random piece of text,

    That made her realise how lonely I was,

    And after that a story that made her feel how lonely she was…!

    So,

    She decided to connect with me,

    On an app where we remained anonymous and I would see her like,

    Her comment,

    Or a side note which gave that piece of text a life in the sense that there was some longing in her heart and mind too…!

    And,

    From that side notes we went to talking to each other about things,

    About life,

    About who we were and who we are—

    And what we wanted to be in our lives…!

    Things went from talking to discussing future in the matter of half a year,

    But,

    Nonetheless,

    There were things that she was fighting and one day,

    Something came up,

    Well,

    Someone did…!

    An ex,

    And,

    She told me what happened,

    How she couldn’t control herself and how she still had feelings for him,

    What’s a cultural tradition from your country that you love?

    Hey…

    I hope all of you are doing well…!

    I know all of you are aware how diverse India is and being someone who has lived all his life here we see various traditions and cultures mix together and celebrate each other’s religious beliefs with them..!

    I went to a party hosted by my friend’s family as they were celebrating Eid…!

    Even though I don’t follow their religious beliefs, respecting them and wishing them on a day they consider pious is something that is usually do…!

    And I was invited at a party where there was snacks and they had invited people in their known and known heir extended family…!

    We went out to roam for a while and then returned as the dinner was being laid out and we helped set it up and we had dinner and I left after wishing him and their family—

    “Eid Mubarak… 👏”

    Another one of my friend is Christian…!

    And whenever he’s in town in the last days of the year we visit to the church with him…!

    To be honest he was one of the person who educated me as to what to do in a church and how to maintain decorum and peace;

    Even though there is a lot of footfall when the celebration is ongoing…!

    We visit the church on the 25th of December and take joy and wish those who come to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ…!

    We usually grab a bite to eat after we leave the church and I give him a gift that I brought for his family before we leave for our home…!

    We celebrate Diwali and Dussehra at our homes and give to those who are less fortunate than us…!

    Yes, we celebrate the festival of light with the people on our neighbourhood and we invite those who don’t and include them in festivities and celebrations by asking them to join us by just listing to the chants that we do…!

    It’s usually chanting Lord Ganesha’s and Goddess Laxmi’s aarti…!

    And,

    For a change we worship Lord Ravana…!

    Not who he became but who he was before;

    A scholar and devotee of lord shiva…!

    Along with being someone who knew Vedas and created literary, astrological instruments and musical instruments on his own…!

    We visit Gurudwara on the occasion of Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti, Vaisakhi, Banndhi chor diwas and guru nanak jayanti…!

    Being from a Hindu Sikh Background we dabble in both religious beliefs..!

    We celebrate birth of guru Nanak and guru Gobind singh ji,

    And during Vaisakhi we wish a bountiful harvest of crops and creation of Khalsa…!

    And we celebrate Bandhu chor on the day of Diwali, how guru Hargobind singh ji released 52 captive kings from Gwalior..!

    As we come from our parents and learn what they teach us,

    Respecting and being a part of someone’s happiness is something that I was taught to do..

    So,

    As long as the other person invites us with open arms and love,

    I try to include myself with their family and be happy in their celebrations…!

    That is the culture and tradition that we were taught and that makes us Indians much different from everyone around the globe…!

    Hey..

    I hope all of you are doing well…!

    I hope there is a reason that time is constantly flowing forward and we keep on building these memories that pull us closer to those who we love and adore…!

    But,

    Not all moments are happy,

    Some are sad,

    Some teach us lessons,

    Some cause us harm from which we try to recover each day…!

    But,

    For all of us there are moments that we want to relive…!

    Maybe it’s spending a good day with their family,

    Or spending a weekend with their loved ones,

    Or,

    A memory that lives with awesome times spent with their friends…!

    They could be sad times too,

    Maybe a normal weekday where you get handed the news where you or your loved one was diagnosed with something that made their days on this earth numbered…!

    For me,

    It would be spending a work day with my father who is no longer among us…!

    A random Tuesday or Wednesday where we work side by side and I watch him do the work that he did and I compete the work that I had to do that day…!

    We would sit and eat fruits together and after an hour and a half,

    Have lunch together…!

    After answering some queries that I have we go back to our work,

    And then sit again in the evening for tea…!

    Have some snacks while discussing the work that we have to do tomorrow…!

    Later when it was our time to leave,

    We would wrap it up by cleaning our machines and washing our hands and face and then locking the main gate and leaving the workplace…!

    We would listen to some old songs on the way back,

    Maybe grab some essentials that we need for home and the drive home would be amazing…!

    After taking a bath we would sit down and have food with my mom and sister and then go out for a walk and sleep in our beds…!

    Reliving a normal day with my father and family would be a dream come true,

    I’d ask him many a things that I couldn’t,

    Talk to him about things we didn’t,

    And,

    Let him know that we are happy and we miss him,

    His presence each passing day…!

    Hey…

    I hope all of you are doing well…!

    It’s rare for me to watch movies—

    Well not now because I’m involved in a lot of things but even back when I was a kid;

    .

    I used to fall asleep mid movie or watched it but didn’t pay any attention to it…!

    It was rare for me to sit for an hour and a half and stare at the screens,

    And now that the size of the screens have reduced to the point that they can fit into our pockets,

    I rarely get enough time to watch them too…!

    More than movies you will see my YouTube Home Screen filled with videos taking me to ancient civilisations and exploring deep science…!

    Now those are the things that pique my interest…!

    Coming back to the answering the prompt…!

    I rarely get a chance to watch movies,

    But the TV series called dark…!

    It’s ending made me cry,

    Well cry to the point where I was in my room bawling my eyes out…!

    Because of the fact that these two who were madly in love realising that they were the problem in the matrix and if they were gone,

    Well,

    Well not present—

    It would return the time back to its normal state and let everyone and everything return to its peaceful nature…!

    It tells us how the fragments survive even after we are not meant for each other…!

    Even if not in memory—

    They continue to live on in the feelings and cause us both pain and happiness when their thought comes to our mind…!

    Hey…

    I hope all of you are doing well…!

    Well,

    There are many moments small and big that led to who and what we are as humanity…!

    Some of them were necessary like moving from using animals to plough our fields to these giant mechanical machinery that do the same work that was done by them in a single day within a few hours…!

    Something like invention of electricity before which we relied heavily on natural light and when the sun set we had to take out lamps and candles…!

    And now due to the advent of electricity we stay in the comfort of our own homes and pay these massive bills each month…!

    But,

    There was something more important that I’d like to erase from all humanity,

    It’s more of how and what we perceive other people…!

    Like imagine if someone owes me something and they can’t seem to find means to pay for it…!

    They themselves become the resource that pays for what they owed me…!

    Yes I’m taking about the fact that humans were considered as a property and something that can be transferred and sold when needed…!

    In simple words I’d like to erase the concept of Slavery…!

    I’d like to do away with the concept that humans could be traded or used as a means to cover something that they couldn’t pay off…!

    Human life is precious in itself and if someone has to stay under someone rule and become someone’s object and someone they can repurpose and sell when it seems fit to them,

    It would remove the purpose of living this life…!

    I know humanity would find a way to repurpose the concept of slavery and come up with a different name for it,

    But,

    I’d like to do away with the concept that humans can be traded and owned as resources first…!

    Because the more you think about it,

    The more human nature becomes something that finds ways to exploit the people who are less fortunate…!
