What’s a lesson you’ve learned recently that shifted your perspective?

Hey…
I hope all of you are doing well…!
A lesson that I learnt fairly recently that I saw with my own eyes more than once is
Not all the time we end up with the person we love or want to spend our entire lives with…!
I know this is a sad realisation that we have to live with, but not all the time it’s possible that you find someone you love and they love you back;
And even if they do and they make promises to be with you forever—
Until something happens and they find someone who they’re more compatible with…!
Or,
There are things like family’s respect and their loyalty to anything that’s said to them;
And when either of the parents reject their choice even after a lot of fight,
Some make through…!
Cases are rare;
But,
Some don’t;
They live life but the person has been long gone;
They continue to live with a hope that they might be able to get together or spend their entire life in a dreamworld where they remember themselves together with the person they deeply cared and loved…!
You will see them in so many ways;
Maybe as an addict who spends their lives on streets collecting trash and selling it at night just to earn a fix;
Or,
You will see them in highly competitive environment like corporate or a business life where they live with a dream that they will get back to her once they themselves made their life…!
In the latter case entire life is spent making the other person feel that they are were worthy and how they made it better in life;
In the first case entire life is spent chasing the time that were spent together, remembering themselves in the moment each time they use abuse a substance…!
I made a prompt about a person who told me their dream and how they couldn’t end up with the person they wanted and I made a post about that…!
To those who made in life by finding love of their lives…!
