Which languages do you speak and how did that impact your life?

Hi…

I hope all of you are doing well…!

There are a few languages I speak and they’ve helped me live my life with ease as there are many people I deal with on the daily basis who come from various language speaking backgrounds…!

To name a few they’d be,
- Panjabi
- Hindi
- English
- A little bit of Urdu
- Some Basics of Spanish
My mother tongue or the language I was given by my parents was Panjabi and I absolutely love it because whenever I visit Panjab I find it very easy to communicate with anyone whom I meet there…!

Even if there are ways in which dialects differ and how we pronounce some words and how our ways differ in which we start or end sentences is something that we are born with…!

They are
- Majhi
- Malwayi
- Doabi
- Puadhi
Four different dialects here in the area of Panjab only and we are not talking about the region that was taken away from us during partition which has four more dialects…!

Hindi is something that we speak at home and with our friends and colleagues and everyone who lives around us;

It has made communication very simple as it is our national identity…!

But,

There is somewhat of a shame that I feel people have about speaking Hindi because they think it makes them feel backwards of sorts;

And I know none of that is true because we all communicate in that language and it was blessed to us by our G0ds and our ancient scriptures are written in this language well Sanskrit but Hindi is derived from it as well…!

English that I speak or type is known by all of you as this is something that we have to learn to survive but the fact that how much we are pressing on learning English has taken a severe impact on our native language…!

But we cover it by speaking in our language to those who understand it and speak it as well…!

Urdu and spanish are on the same level as i can understand it a bit and if a proficient speaker comes in you’ve lost me;

There are some things I can say and speak but I’d need help of translate once things go beyond my scope…!

I’ve been impacted as people who speak and understand can truly relate with you and talk to you about anything that goes on in their mind…!

Imagine speaking to someone and their idea isn’t going to you and they aren’t able to understand what is going on in your mind…!

That is the power of knowing and understanding a language that they speak;

Because the idea flows freely once you can make them understand and they can speak their mind—

But it isn’t possible if there is a language barrier between you and someone else…!

Other than that you are able to understand what is going on with current times as there at factors that hinder once things hinder your connection like imagine if network is blocked and there is chaos in your country,

If you speak the language you are able to understand it and if you don’t you don’t,

You feel left out and away from becoming a brick that help bring down the people who disrupted the nation that you exist in…

The language you speak has significant impact on you as it reflects how you think and people judge you on the base of that…!

And if someone from your ethnicity does something that’s shameful it harms you as much as it does to the other person;

That is the impact of language that—

I speak,

You speak,

We all speak…!

So use it cautiously…!

Inspiration that transcends the world…!

Who are you most inspired by?

Hi…

I hope all of you are doing well…!

There are a lot of things that are my inspiration and I watch them,
listen to them,
and try to witness them with my eyes in a hope that I might be able to have a moment with them and get something that not only inspires me,
but this entire world….!

Not always you get inspiration or this go getter attitude by talking to people or listening to inspiring stories but,
there are some which help you to focus,
change your ways,
and be a better person on a whole…!

In my case when I need some inspiration when I’m feeling down it can be something like a good song,
or,
listening to Sikh paths that are pre-recorded and available for this world to hear…!

There are dhadi jatha (groups with people who play sarangi(a stringed instrument akin to a sitar but shorter) and a dhadd( an hourglass shaped drum which is small and played like a clap box but using only fingers)…

They also have a person who speaks the lectures or the chorus Alone and as a group too…!

They recite in Panjabi and educate us about our past and things that happened that brought us to who we are today…!

The tales are told like ballads and its meaning explained nowadays if you visit a gurudwara and they are playing as we have less and less of Panjabi speaking and listening people and also the crowd that comes into a gurudwara is from a big spectrum as no one is denied entry into one…!

Let’s come back to the prompt;

I take inspiration from numerous sources it can range from something that I witness in the real world,
even something that is sent to me or gets seen by my eyes which can be Ai generated like a beautiful picture of a scenery or a person…!

The one thing that inspires me the most are the sings that I listen to,
and shows that I watch;

They provide me an insight into life,
and perspectives of women’s life which helps me to write something that happens in their life…!

Your inspiration can be a person or a group that you want to be like,
but,
in an essence my inspiration would never be someone who was born on this earth but a being that sent me to this earth by blowing this breath into my lungs which help me breathe and exist on this world…!

Hey..

I hope all of you are doing well…!

My top tip to be successful anywhere,
and by anywhere I mean any environment that you want to strive in is to work hard and be super observant about your surroundings…!

I don’t mean that you should just listen to anything anyone says or let yourself be run over by someone just because they’re your senior or they have authority over you;
if someone says something wrong you don’t have to take it…!

By being a hard worker you can be better at any job which helps you learn faster and tackle any problem that comes your way,
which opens up a lot of possibilities for you to advance in life…!

And,
by being observant you can learn from errors other people make and avoid them by learning them beforehand and avoiding them when a situation like that arises in the near future…!

The above were the professional advice and if I were to talk about our personal life it would be somewhat different;

You know what you can be successful in life even if you don’t earn a huge amount each month,
if you have people those who are around you and they are willing to sacrifice their life and time for you,
there’s nothing that makes you more successful…!

You have to give up your own life when it comes to making connections like this,
Imagine having a friend for more than 10 years,
At times marriages tend to end faster but,
to keep those near you near it requires a lot of sacrifice,
a lot of time that you have to pull out of these 24 hours and a sheer dedication to be with them through thick and thin…!

Other than that,
if you have elders in your home that is something that is difficult right now,
take their blessings and advices that they have accumulated over the years,
which come from real life witnesses and enduring it all before the oncoming of any technology or any advancement that would make life easier…!

Be kind,
respectful and approach the situation with cool head and a calm mind which helps you to understand and focus on it and solve the root of any problem…!

TV shows I’d like to watch once again…!

What’s a book, movie, or TV show that you wish you could experience again for the first time?

Hey…

I hope all of you are doing well…!

I’m not that much into movies but I do watch when I’m with someone like a friend or a group of them and we decide on watching one;

Reading has been my forte and it has helped me grow to who I am today…!

but,
there are different perspectives I gain when I’m reading it from different pov’s and it always is like a new read for me whenever I pick up a book…!

There is a TV series that I’d love to rewatch once again,
and experience it once again;

It would be,

The Office

I know it might be a choice that many people might choose but,
there is something so funny about the premise that makes me forget everything that is looming over my head and helps me relax as I watch clips of it on YouTube…!

I’m at a point where every other video is the pranks jim played on Dwight or a collection of bloopers that happened during the recoding,
let’s not forget the deleted scenes that didn’t make the cut…!

If I can ever get to watch the whole series once again with a clean slate along with the bloopers at the end of each episode plus the deleted scenes at the end of each season it would be a blast…!

Another TV series.
Well not technically TV but YouTube series would be

The Big Lez Show

It’s such a good movie that started at ms paint and led to what it is right now,
I watched it a few years back as it was recommended by someone I know;

And it changed my view on Australian comedy…!

So much effort when into it and it was such a sad ending when the show came to an end that it broke something within me…!

They are still working on mini series and standalone series of characters who were the part of the main series and it is such a good recap as it brings back a lot of memories…!

These two TV shows I’d like to watch again after forgetting all of the memories that i currently have of them…!

Mastering skills to help someone who really needs it…!

If you could instantly master any skill, what would it be and why?

Hey…

I hope all of you are doing well…!

If you were to ask me about mastering a skill it would definitely be something that I can use for public benefit and mine too…!

It would be something like having better observational skills and achieving a better conversational skill which would help me achieve my goals earlier…!

There is a vast difference between observing and just watching the world walk by without gaining anything from it;

It would be to my benefit to be able to observe and talk to people using my mastered skill set and get to know things that bug them or cause them harm,
and take all their pain away as they feel some ease after talking to me about themselves…!

There are a lot of things that haunt us,
and we are constantly fighting a battle with them all the time,
it can be a boss who’s making your life miserable,
or some problems back home which make you think like you’re shrouded in darkness;

And when I ask you about your life in such a way that it makes you tell me(A complete stranger);
everything wrong that is going on in your life and I say some words that are comforting even if for a little while,
it makes your life feel worthy of living,
even enjoying if you truly feel free after talking your heart out…!

So,

Mastering observational and conversational skills would be my top choice…!

किसकी गलती…?

उस भूखे बच्चे को तड़पते देख,
एक सवाल आया मेरे मन में——

“क्या उस रब्ब ने चाहा होगा उसका ये हाल…?”

क्या गलती थी उसकी,
भूक से लड़ जो रहा था आज वोह,
अपनी माँ को पुकार कर,
रो जो रहा था उसकी तालाश में;

उस रब्ब ने चाहा होगा कि एक अच्छी ज़िंदगी मिले,
पर,
देखने पर लगता है की,
कोई गलती की होगी कोई उसने;

गौर करने पर लगा,
होगा वह महज़ २-३ साल का;

अगर उस बच्चे ने नहीं की थी कोई गलती,
एक ऐसी उमर में जिसमे उसने अपनी सुद-भुद भी ना संभाली हो,
तो गलती किसकी…?

उस रब्ब की जिसने उसे भेजा इस धरती पर,
या,
माँ-बाप का दोष जो लाए उसको इस दुनिया में और ना कर पाये उसकी देखभाल;

जानता होता अगर रब्ब-
“के मैं भेज रहा हूँ अपने इस अंश को ऐसे लोगों के पास जो देखरेख ना कर पायेंगे,
और कुछ सालों बाद भूक से तड़प-तड़प कर,
अक्सर मौत को गले लगा कर,
मेरे पास वापस आ जाती है ये नन्ही जानें;

तो गलती किसकी,
उस रब्ब की,
जिसकी पूजा हम बेतहाशा करते है,
माँगते है उससे अपना भला-

वोह जानते हुए भी,
भेज देता है इन बच्चों को बली चड़ने,
इस इंसान के जूनी में;

या,

गलती उन माँ-बाप की,
जो लाए वोह जान को इस डूबती दुनिया में,
कुछ पल,

गलती हम सभ की,
और हम में से किसी के भी नहीं;

अगर औलाद पाल नहीं सकते तो सोचना चाहिए था,

तो अपने आप को बदल लेना चाहिए;

English translations

Whose fault was it…?

Seeing that hungry child suffer,
a question arose in my mind,

“Did God ever intend for his life to be like this?”

What was his fault?

There he was, fighting hunger,
calling out for his mother,
crying as he searched for her;

Perhaps God wished for him to have a good life,
and yet, looking at his condition,
I found myself wondering how he had ended up here;

Then it struck me——
he could not have been more than two or three years old.

If a child so young has done nothing wrong,
at an age when he cannot even care for himself,
then how does he find himself in such circumstances?

I wondered about many things;

About the world he was born into.
About the people responsible for him.
About the systems around him.
And about the role fate, chance, or God may play in lives such as his.

No one would likely wish such a life upon a child.

Not God.
Not his parents.
Not the strangers who pass him by.

Yet hunger exists.

And in a world that often measures worth through money and survival,
many people are left struggling through circumstances they never chose.

Some would say the responsibility lies with parents.
Others would point to society.
Others still would question God.

I do not know the answer.

I only know that suffering like this does not appear from a single cause,
and rarely belongs to a single person.

Perhaps there are choices that could have been made differently.
Perhaps there are circumstances beyond anyone’s control.

Either way, the child continues to suffer.

And that was the thought that stayed with me.

Many people remain unseen,
even while standing right before our eyes.

And as I continued on my way,
the sound of those cries stayed with me.

Hey…

I hope all of you are doing well…!

After going on a morning walk I felt such a relief like a burden was taken from my shoulders,
it felt like I was free and the meditation that I did even if it was a measly five minutes and I was interrupted by Mithu(our pet) it turned out to be a very great experience for me…!

After a morning session of physiotherapy,
I’ll be good to go on my merry way to work and work my butt off as there are a lot of things that have piled up which need my attention due to labor shortage and the rising rates of material that we need on a daily basis…!

Mistakes people make when they visit our country…!

There are many things that are wrong with our country and we are fully aware of that because we deal with them on the daily…!

Like open drains, water overflowing, space technology roads that aren’t meant to be driven upon and cows on the roads that cause hazard and take numerous lives each day…!

But,
the fact that people focus on these things and show us in a bad picture making us feel even more worthless about ourselves…!

Things like poverty are everywhere,
and there is waste that is spread on the streets which is cleaned up every morning by people who are employed by the municipal corporation who clean them up daily…!

But,
the habit of not polluting our vicinity starts from us the residents of our country and when we see a pile of trash that started as a few leaves or a single use plastic cup or a bottle and people think it’s alright to dump all of their trash there;

When there are trash cans around you as its mandatory by law to keep a trash can if you serve food or single use plastic bottles like cold drinks…!

And here people can’t seem to get that at all…!

I don’t like to toot my own horn but I’d rather keep small trash like an empty bag of chips or an empty bottle in my bag;

Well it starts from somewhere doesn’t it…?

Went on my own rant there….!😅

Well we know there are these problems that we battle,
and we are trying our level best to recover from them and once each and every one of us seems to get it that it’s not their problem it’s our problem we won’t be able to recover from it ever…!

We know there are things like segregation that exists based on caste system and that makes their lives living hell which when shown gives us such a bad rep and this is necessary because more these things are exposed,
it makes us more likely to work on them…!

And,
finally when people visit our country they trust wrong people,
Our country India is know for its hospitality and some people believe anyone that tells them so;

So,
its hard because we are a country that seems very backward and primitive in a way how we treat other human beings which make us feel like villains…!

There are battles each and every one of us fights countries and their wards too…!

A few artists I listen to on the daily…!

What’s a song that always puts you in a good mood?

Hey…

I hope all of you are doing well…!

After missing my prompt yesterday as my morning went away to taking my pet dog,
mithu to vet in Vijay Nagar, Delhi…!

I had a problem with the previous vet,
who spayed her and from that point onwards there were numerous problems like she was unable to control her urinary movement and she wasn’t able to put a lot of her weight on her back legs;

Making her take our support to get on the sofa or the bed…!

We were handed a prescription,
medicine for her bladder and some for her anxiety…!

I know it’s bad that she’s so young and having so many problems,
but,
I think the marriage function,
a packed home and a few days we weren’t able to take care of her properly made her feel bad and pulled her down that path…!

Other than that she is on the path of recovery,
and it’s nice to talk to people about your pets because it lets them talk about their pets and things that they experienced differently with their upbringing…!

It was a long day today and I’m completing this prompt at night as it’s almost 23:30 hours…!

A song that puts me in good mood…!

This prompt is such a good one for this who like to listen to a single artist which they prefer;
But,
for me it’s a tricky one…!

There is such a vast variety of music I consume even from languages that I cannot understand….!

That this prompt would never come to an end…!

There are different moods in which I listen to songs and sadly they aren’t interchangeable…!

For example,
if there is something hard like lifting or pushing my body to the max there is something called Panjabi drill(A section under Panjabi hip-hop…)

There is a new artist called

one of the best things that I’ve heard in a long time

He’s very promising and one of best writers and singers I’ve heard in a while…!

where Panjabi singers have picked up jhanjhar or guns,
he brings out new ways to convey his message and something that is easy to understand and appreciate…!

Another one would be,

You already know him,
or,
You don’t know Panjabi or don’t have Panjabi friends who have introduced him to you…!

Proper gangsta rap with beat which his friend,

SANTALI(47) who produces and they are old skool boom bap type beats;

which helps his listeners relate to the songs hard(pause)

Yes the song is named 450k or 4.5 lakhs

One of the prime examples that brings out his penmanship and rhyme scheme plus the gangster spirit that he possesses in his mind…!

Who-tf-wanna-see-Azaad,
Imma-face-em-all…!

The last would be

GAGAN KOONER

A producer, singer, songwriter, editor and an amazing actor who acts with such a grace while carrying a pagg which has been passed on to us by our G0ds…!

His words make them worth the while and the way he portrays both love and affection is equally as graceful…!

The years spent waiting for a loved one…!

Yes he writes both gangster and love songs which makes him very broad once you come to know his work…!

Above were one of the few artists that I listen to currently and it makes me happy that a prompt came that I can talk to you;

Hey…

I hope all of you are doing well…!

finally it’s a day off for me today,
but,
there are so many things that pile up over the week that,
this single day becomes hectic to the point where it becomes impossible to shift from my already made schedule…!

I’m writing this as I’m sitting for my physio session and contemplating life and all of the factors that led me here…!

A busy life,
a strong will,
and a non shaking willpower that made me who I am,
still continues to shape me and a future version of myself…!

Coming back to the prompt

Best way to build self confidence…!

Building self confidence comes to me when I am fairly certain if I know about a certain thing or a fact that I’m talking about or writing about…!

When there is something that I feel less confident about,
Like a dress or my physique or even something someone said to me—
my mind on its own contemplates about things or concept that makes me feel bad about myself;

But a voice speaks from within and asks me to stop thinking negatively about myself and pushes me into a positive spell,
That helps me kick all the negative thoughts that exist in my mind at that time…!

When it comes to building confidence about your own self from the start,
first you have to accept who you are and how you are;

And come to terms with it,
and when it feels like what you are isn’t the true version of yourself,
Then you should first strive to be a better version of yourself if you feel that will help you start your confidence about yourself from a level above that zero…!

To be honest that is what I live by,
I try to better myself and it boosts my confidence every single day bit by bit;

Until and unless you strive to be better each day and explore how you can build yourself to be better,
better than yesterday;

There is always room for improvement and being a confident and a person who is vibrant and willing to take any challenge head on…!

Hey…

I hope all of you are doing well…!

It’s going to be a busy day,
a day off from physio but,
that means I can get some time to complete the prompt in the morning before I leave for work…!

Things are finally getting traction in life,
and I’ve crossed my fingers with hope that they stay on the same line…!

And after talking to my sister who recently got married,
I feel a whole lot better as she was the one who used to hear me out all the time…!

The conversation now has taken a tangent,
earlier it was more about how was my day,
or,
talking about how our lives were and what happened on the daily,
or something that happened during the day;

But now,
when she’s adapting herself in a new household and figures out things that are new to her as she’s encountering them after stepping into a role of a wife and daughter in law,
pacing herself yet again…!

Other than that there are a few new things that I’m working on and I’ll make them public soon..!

One of them is a scene where I present pov of both husband and wife cheating and how it breaks the place they call home…!

Another one is well it’s shady and very graphic,
where sa takes place and I plan to explore the mindset of both the victim and the person committing the unthinkable act…!

I know it won’t reach reach any place without being shadow banned or being restricted or even my whole site banned,
a mindset explored gives me answers to things that help me understand the situation where they both end up in..!

Coming back to the prompt

Building loyal subscribers…!

All of this was never about building subscribers or having a loyal fan following who like each and every one of my posts;

But,
it was started as a means to pen whatever I have in my mind,
before those thoughts turn into a negative ones and cause me harm;

That was the sole reason to bring to you,
all of you what goes on in my mind…!

There might be some who think they want loyal subscribers and people who wait for their posts,
but,
I know there is no way someone is going through all of this-

When we are all aware of the fact that reading skills and attention span of people have gone down so much that even reading a paragraph seems tricky..!

And when you are catering to people who are in such situation,
it can be said that they might not read it to the end;

And when you write there is a chance that it might be skipped,
or,
something might be picked up which you didn’t think much about…!

So,
working on things that are tricky for the masses means that you are somewhat writing for your own self;

And if you aren’t loyal towards your own skill or talent and continuously try to improve it-
