If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?

I hope all of you are doing well…!
A good morning from me to all of you…!
As I got something I wanted from a long time, a seiko watch that was delivered to me yesterday evening…!
It might not feel like much to anyone looking from outside but a seiko watch like this was something that I wanted…!
Maybe I’ll do a post about all of the watches I own someday…!

It was a bit problematic morning as we had a water shortage, the tanks that we keep on the terrace were already half empty because of the use and without having anything to check or any update from the Delhi Jal board(Djb) [The governing water body of the city];
They have been disrupting the flow of water more and more as time goes on..!
Under the context of cleaning the water plants and sometimes the excess amounts of pollutants in the water…!
I know they are doing their job and providing us with clean water but this was never the case earlier and even if something like this were to happen we were made aware a few days in advance…!

Coming back to the prompt
Change one law and the reasons behind it…!
Have you ever thought that a person who takes the life and dignity of someone without even a single ounce of fear and a sense of humanity in them…!
It is something that has been so much prevalent in these days that the news has become a common thing and we scan past them like it’s a common occurring…!
Same can be said about the human lives that are lost due to poor or improper constructions that happen due to cost cutting and when heavy infrastructure come down crashing and takes the lives of several people within a span of few seconds;
There should be some action taken against such people and it should happen before the pyres of the of the now deceased person are put to flames…!
In the first case, the person who was the perpetrator/s should be charged to death, because taking a life should have the same impact on yours even if it was done under the influence;
An accident or a mishap should be viewed from that view too, the company that picked the tender should be held responsible and accountable for the accident that happened if the fault was found in the quality of the material or if the quantity of the safety measures were skipped…!
Not a single life lost should go in vain, because this life is precious and losing it has a ripple effect on those around them…!
In crux
A swift and effective approach is needed to bring justice to the victims and bringing the perpetrators in the vision of the law system to punish them accordingly…!
