If you could pick any fictional animal to be your lifelong companion (like a Pokémon or fantasy pet), what would it be?

I hope all of you are doing well…!
I think a lot of things happened that took us to a fictional world and explore our mind this past week…!
Having 3 prompts that push us to explore the fictional world and our mindset is something that I didn’t think happens before…!
Well,
A fictional animal that I’d keep as a lifelong companion would be either
Courage the cowardly dog,
Or,
Toothless the dragon…!
I know they are polar opposite in many cases,
But,
When push comes to shove they become absolute monsters and protect the people they love as much as they can…!
We know courage is said to be cowardly but, we see instances where he protects Muriel and the house with all that he has…!
He also sympathises with those aliens who were wronged by people here on earth and helps by freeing them and helping them in some way which makes him a just pet too…!
And,
Imagine your pet can surf the net and take advice from a sarcastic computer that is arrogant to a point that it feels like you are being attacked but,
He’s genuinely trying to help you underneath all of that…!
Choosing Toothless as a pet would be a blast—
I mean travel distances are cut short,
You have a pet dragon…!
A dragon 🐉
Who behaves like a dog and cuddles up next to you…!
Can you ever believe that…?
Imagine you are stuck somewhere and you call out to them and they come to your rescue and save you from the problem that you are in at any moment…!
And,
You can scratch them all over their body and they won’t bite you…?!
He’s very much into keeping those people who are dear to them safe from anything that can cause them harm…!
Sacrificing even himself to achieve that…!
Also,
He becomes such a great parent by taking care of their young ones too and their lifelong commitment to light fury or Luna…!
Oh my G0d my mind is going crazy thinking what all we could do with toothless as a pet…!
These would be my two fictional animals that I’d love to keep with myself if possible…!
