What villain actually had a good point?

I hope all of you are doing well…!
Well,
This prompt is a good one and focuses on how a bad character can have good intentions even if their actions put them on a bad path according to all of us neutral viewers…!
For example
Thanos from Avengers had pure intentions with a single motive to reduce the population and the way we plunder the fast depleting resources each and every day…!
His end goal was right but the path leading to it was based on eradicating half of the population…!
Another one would be
Mr. Edward Snowden
I’m pretty sure you’ve heard the name and if you haven’t you need to come out of the rock that you’re living;
A former NSA intelligence contractor who brought out to the world how America tracked people all over the world I.e. their global surveillance network and he revealed other classified documents like tracking millions of people on the daily and without disclosing that they are being tracked…!
With right intentions he wanted to bring this to the world but the organisations consider his actions wrong and even something that they would charge him with backstabbing the entire nation the reason for exile in Russia…!
Even if your end goal is something that helps bring down a tyrant or a government that sits and presses the common public..!
Your path decides how the world will perceive it…!
And if it is a negative one, your whole life or your entire legacy will be remembered by how you chose to fight by choosing a bad path even if your intentions were pure…!
That’s why it’s said that your path to success matters as much as the success;
You can be successful by peddling or selling substances that harm people around you but when people view your life or your riches they will point out that the path to your success was paved by the life of people who were helpless enough to consume substances that you sold…!
The path towards the goal matters as much as the final aim that you want to achieve…!
