Dussehra Puja and spending a week as the crocodile hunter…!

If you could switch lives with a famous person for a week, who would it be and why?

Hey…

I hope all of you are doing well…!

Happy Dussehra to everyone celebrating the auspicious day today….!

Maybe it’s by celebrating the win of Lord Rama that took place way back in the past today by defeating Lord Ravana…!

I put Lord Ravana because we pray to him too…!

This tradition was started way back from the time of my grandparents,

Well they used to say that before his mind/thinking capacity was clouded by revenge from lord ram and lord Laxman and he falling for beauty of goddess Sita…!

The puja involved growing Jo(barley seeds) on the day of the last shraad And letting it grow until today…!

I brought sugarcane,

Two full grown stems and along with them I brought fresh cow dung;

And we made ten golf-sized balls and pressed it using my palm(wore a glove…) into palm-sized disks…!

On which I put a few specks of rice, dal, curd and atta halwa which we made and a little strand of mouli(the red thread which we wrap around our wrist…)

And we prayed to lord Ravana to bless us with his wisdom and might…!

Coming back to the prompt

If I could switch life with a famous person for a week who would I be and why…!

I wouldn’t necessarily choose anyone,

But,

Getting a perspective on who I am and how I changed over the years would be something that I would love to get a view at…!

I wouldn’t necessarily choose someone who prefers pomp and show,

But,

I’d rather choose someone who is famous yet chooses to be down to earth and focuses on observing and bringing a perspective or a sense into the minds of people that this view exists too…!

I’d love to live a view in the shoes of either Steve Irwin or Robin Williams…!

I’d love to explore a different perspective in life by observing, shadowing the famous crocodile hunter…!

Because I’d love to understand how he developed such a deep love for animals which we generally consider harmful to ourselves…!

And in the final few days I would love to be near the said animals and understanding how they perceive us and when we take them from their natural habitats and how they react to us saving them—

Healing them and releasing them back into the wild…!

This is something that I’d love to do once in my life…!

And if it were Robin williams—

I’d choose to see people and observe how they feel and bring out the trapped emotions within them by making them laugh and feel better about themselves and leave a bit happy after meeting me…!

Being in someone footsteps gives you a perspective that is sometime missing in your life…!

Maybe that is all that you need…!

A fresh perspective on life and a view that gives you a better sense of what you would want to be like…!

Cheers 🥂
