Hey…!
I hope all of you are doing well…!
(even if you are not,
I hope you treat yourself with kindness when it feels like the world is out to get you…!)
It was a tiring day yesterday as I had to cut material which took off a major chunk of my time yesterday…!
I started at around 3 in the afternoon and that one job lasted 5 hours I.e. 8 at night when it was time to pack up and leave…!
Came into work around 11 and it was a little busy but I got free around 1:30 and started working on the material that I cut yesterday…!
Today and tomorrow will be spent bringing these blanks to size…!
It will be tiring,
As there are passes that I have to take on them and achieve a final size within a tolerance and that never seems to end as there are 500 more pieces of the same…!
At the end it pays my bills,
I’ll do the same task even if it takes a full day’s work…!
Coming back to the prompt
A proverb that I disagree with…!
“YOU SHOULD ALWAYS RESPECT YOUR ELDERS”
I know I need to give an explanation,
and that can swing in both the ways…!
There are some elders that are good,
And really care about your well being,
and want you to prosper in life…!
But,
on the contrary there are so many who are just bitter,
They look at other people like they have asked for their their arm or leg like they are out for revenge;
And they have such a bad habit of staring and passing snide comments on the youth,
No matter where they stand or where they are,
without giving a single thought about who is around them…!
Everyone has a right to express them,
and they feel like they have a right to call things out that they feel don’t match with ideas that belong to them;
Bringing it closer,
There are often many relatives who live around you,
and if they see you hanging out with someone,
or,
even doing something like drinking and dining,
They will make sure that your parents are aware of it,
sometimes even grab proof of it by clicking pictures…!
And,
they send it to your father/mother;
Your own parents believe in their words so much that it’s outrageous,
and,
they don’t even have the time to look at their own kids who are so much more involved in bad stuff,
but,
being the parent of the child,
they are oblivious to their own flesh and void doing anything wrong…!
And when something like this is brought to their attention and you share photos of their kids with them that you have on your phone,
It makes their belief and trust fall in Ai so quickly that it’s impossible to miss…!

This rant can go on forever…!
They will work hard enough to achieve what they want,
and bring you down…!
There are some who deserve your respect,
As they respect you even if you are a little kid,
but,
when their intention is to make you smaller and vulnerable infront of your parents by bringing you down no matter the circumstances by exposing you at each act they catch you in…!
To an idea that exits beyond any age…
Being the aged elder they are,
they need to have a grasp on the type of things they spew out of their mouth ,
And,
be aware of how it affects others…!
